Praise God for HIS Abundant Grace and Mercy
We are praising God in this season of the birth of our Savior for HIS abundant blessings throughout the year. We look forward with wondrous anticipation to what the Lord has in store for us in the coming new year.
We have a busy travel schedule in the first half of 2012 with trips to Haiti in January, April, and July, as well as a trip to Cuba in March. Keep up with the current schedule on our website at http://www.livinginfaith.net/trips or "Like Us" on Facebook.
Please continue to pray for us and our ministry to reach the hurting and lost in this world by providing clean water, improved vision, and food for the body as well as the soul. May each act bring the light of Jesus into people's hearts and draw them into a close relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Team returns from Cuba
Praise God!! The Living in Faith team had a wonderful trip to Cuba.
Thank you for your prayers, the team felt each and every one. Angels were ahead of them guiding their path as the team traveled. Three water systems were installed. Two at churches and the third at a Christian Retreat center. These systems will not only provide the opportunity clean drinking water but they will also provide an opportunity for the Christians to tell others about the "living water" that only comes from Jesus.
Look for more photos and video from Cuba soon!

Water and Vision - Two things that many take for Granted
The LIF team in Haiti recently went to a mountain spring, the source of water for thousands of people in the valley. This water was tested for E.Coli and was found to be heavily contaminated. Doctors at a near by medical clinic see many patients with water borne diseases. The doctors have seen a difference in several villages with our Water Purification Systems. There is a noticeable drop in disease since our systems were installed.
Clara Lawhead, a health care professional from Pasco county traveled to Haiti as part of the team. Here are some of her thoughts: "Health care is woefully inadequate and non-existent for most of the population. I witnessed severe and chronic malnutrition; parasite infections; malaria, typhoid; infections from poor wound healing and even a young woman with amputations of both feet resulting from uncontrolled diabetes resulting from the lack of insulin. Preventative medicine and early health care are unknown for the majority of the population. Eye care, the simple concept of corrective glasses, is virtually unavailable except for the work that Living In Faith does and that occurs in only one region and on a small scale compared to the need. Watching the gift of sight Living in Faith brought back to villagers when Russ placed their glasses on their faces was miraculous.
If you have ever wondered what can you do to make a difference in this world, or what you can do to help the children, take note of the plight of our neighbors to the south."
---- Clara Lawhead, MS, RD, LD, FADA
During our October outreach to Haiti many eyeglasses were delivered. Patients receiving their glasses often cry with joy because they can now see! Many times family members who brought them to the clinic are crying with happiness as well! On the recent trip we encountered a large number of patients who were blind.
Russ began to ask, “Why are we seeing so many cases like this?” He was told that the LIF eye clinic is the only place these patients can go to receive help. After talking with the patients to find out how they knew about the eye clinic, patient after patient said they knew of a neighbor who was “healed” and they wanted to be healed too!
Please be in prayer for an evangelistic revival that is taking place near the Double Harvest church. The event is November 13 to 22. Over 70 people came to the Lord at a similar event that was held two years ago… just two months before the earthquake. After the quake, many people shared testimonies about how blessed they were to have Christ in their lives during that traumatic time. The LIF Ministry of Word and Vision will be involved in the revival. Demand for this team and their equipment continues to grow.

Awesome Team, Awesome Trip, AWESOME GOD!

Awesome is the only word that could describe the latest trip to Haiti. A team of twelve traveled to Haiti to share the love of Christ with the Haitians. There were four families represented on this trip. The team worked on a variety of diverse projects. Three water systems were completed as well as work in the eye clinic. During each of the projects members of the Schaller, Garibay, Johnston and Brigner families educated the local children on the salvation message as they made balloon animals. The team was quite the attraction…people on the roof…behind the building…in the courtyard…everywhere… doing the Lord’s work!
What a wonderful experience it was to see families with their children serving in each of the ministry areas of Living in Faith. The children were quick to share their thoughts and experience during nightly devotions and parents were able to work alongside of their children. What a great way for a family to serve together! Pray about how this mission experience will change the lives of the youth involved and their relationship with their families and others.
On a Saturday night, with the full moon shining, the Living in Faith team traveled with the evangelism team to the site in Citi Solei where the movie would be shown. The team
prayed for success and the video was shown without problems. About thirty-five youth came to the Lord that night.
Below is a video log of some of the highlights of the trip.
